Davis Junction, IL March 15, 2018 Skandia, Incorporated announces that it has made a significant advancement in its AeroDamp damping products. AeroDamp Advanced is a lightweight polymer used for vibration damping. AeroDamp Advanced is the most effective, in the industry, at reducing the airborne sound generated by the vibration of floor panels, bulkheads, cabinet structures and trim panels. The product is lighter, more cost effective and offers the best performance in the industry.
AeroDamp Advanced is Radiant Panel Certified, meeting all Flammability standard testing, 14 CFR 25.853(a) and Smoke Density and Heat Release, 14 CFR 25.853(d) tests.
The product is a damping sheet with a self-adhesive backing. Installers can cut to fit, peel and stick for easy installation. AeroDamp Advanced is provided in standard 24” x 48” sheets and has excellent damping performance-to-weight ratio.
