Important Flammability Information ISO 17025:2017
Existing, and potentially new, Skandia Flammability Lab customers:
Skandia, Inc.’s flammability lab is currently ISO 17025:2017 accredited. As part of our demonstration of compliance to this new revision, please consider this notification of our Decision Rule on measurement uncertainty (should you ever require measurement uncertainty be applied to any testing we provide). All Skandia, Inc. testing that requires measurement uncertainty has said combined uncertainty determined through a summation in quadrature of the individual uncertainties of each measurement device used. These uncertainty measurements are available upon request. Skandia, Inc. applies a pass/fail criteria based on the outcome of the test regardless of the measurement uncertainty, except in cases where the customer specifically requests that measurement uncertainty be applied. In the event that the uncertainty measurement yields an inconclusive result, the customer shall receive a report showing inconclusive results and the measurement uncertainty.
