Skandia Inc. Hires Regional Sales Managers for North America and Europe
Jon BonDurant and Kambiz Avval join the Skandia team.
Davis Junction, IL November 16, 2015 Skandia Inc., a business-class aircraft interiors products and service specialist, has hired two Regional Sales Managers for its North American and European markets.
Jon BonDurant and Kambiz Avval will lead Skandia’s business relationships with aircraft completion centers, MROs as well as OEMs for its line of aircraft interior products and services. Skandia’s line of products and services include seating foam and foam fabrication, flammability engineering and testing, acoustic and soundproofing technologies as well as interior shop supplies and tools.
Jon BonDurant will represent the eastern half of the United States and Canada. Mr. BonDurant brings a background of extensive experience in the MRO and interior completions and renovation sector. Jon has operated in a wide variety of job capacities that include technician, sales management and program management for companies such as Garrett, StandardAero, Jet Aviation and Central Flying Service. Serving in these roles he closely interacted with Skandia on the client side, giving him firsthand knowledge and experience with Skandia’s broad line of products and services.
Kambiz Avval will lead Skandia’s Western Region of the US and Canada as well as service all of Skandia’s VIP and VVIP completion center customers throughout Europe. Educated as a physicist and chemical engineer, Mr. Avval has led the design, testing and integration of custom acoustic systems for more than 65 individual business jet models ranging in size from small narrow cabin jets up to and including the wide body VVIP Boeing 747. His extensive experience in acoustic design significantly broadens Skandia’s capability to now include custom acoustic design for business aircraft. This provides Skandia customers the ability to get single-source service from acoustic design and custom soundproofing through flammability engineering, testing, and certification of materials.
